Liam had his 9 month appt at the pediatrician this morning, weighing in at 20 lbs 12 1/2 ounces and 29 inches long. Everyone seems to think he is really long, but right on par with his sisters at this age. (Nora was 28 1/2 inches long and Anna was 29 inches long) He is weighing in a few pounds heavier than his sisters at this age though. Liam got a couple of shots, but took them like a man with no crying.
Then, following Liam’s doctor appt, Nora and I went to observe and participate in a preschool class today. She was very excited to be going to school, I however have been dreading the day my little lady goes off to preschool. They had a carpet square set out for Nora so she could join them for circle time, however Nora surprised me and decided to sit in the back with me for a bit when we first got there (which I secretly loved – my independent little girl that is growing up way too fast, still needs her mama once in a while!) Part way through circle time Nora got comfortable and decided to go sit with the other boys and girls. After circle time we got to paint, listen to a story, and sing some songs that the kids were learning for their upcoming Easter Program. It was a fun afternoon and Nora was super excited that we got to visit her school. Her enthusiasm almost makes me forget about how much I am dreading her going… almost.
