The septic mound has been a giant source of frustration even before it was put it. (You can refer back to our house building posts if you have forgotten the drama of our lot only perking in one location causing us to have to build our house closer to the curb than the other houses […]
I am very blessed, I am very blesssed, I am very blessed – today I had to remind myself of that, repeatedly! Most days I LOVE being a stay at home mom and feel very fortunate that I have that option. Today was not one of those days! Today I would have jumped at the chance to be […]
One year ago today, our family became complete. Liam Joseph Sekol was born into the world and into our family. He is the son I never knew I wanted (I was convinced that I was more of a “girl mom” than a “boy mom”) and now I could not imagine our lives without him. He […]
Liam Joseph Sekol will be one year old on June 7th. Today we celebrated his first birthday with family and friends. Unfortunately Grandma Proctor and Pa Bill weren’t able to be here, as they had planned because mom has bronchitis so they weren’t able to make the trip – We missed you mom and dad! It […]
Matt took Nora to Lowes today and when she got home, she said “mommy, I’m not going to tell you about your Mother’s Day surprise.” LOL Matt had told her not to tell me what they had gotten me while they were out cause it was a surprise, but apparently he forgot to tell her […]
The Crayola Factory was having a dinosaur exhibit and Nora is currently obsessed with dinosaurs, so we just had to go check it out. It was a fun day of painting dinosaur stamps, making stuff out of model magic – including a dinosaur that Matt made for Anna, coloring with the sidewalk chalk, drawing on the […]
When the girls went to bed last night they left their Easter Baskets on the island for the Easter Bunny and when they work up this morning they were gone! Some how we convinced the girls to wait until after breakfast to go looking for them and they helped me make a big yummy breakfast, […]
We went to Grammy Terry’s and Grandpa Joe’s to color Easter Eggs, a yearly tradition. Aunt Jessie and Aunt Katie were also there to join in the fun. I do believe that we made it through without any broken eggs or spilled egg dye! Woohoo!
We went for our first train ride today, on the Easter Bunny Express in Kempton, PA. It is a seasonal train ride on the Wanamaker Kempton & Southern Railroad. After meeting Grammy Terry and Grandpa Joe there, we started off the trip with a pic with the Easter Bunny, then stopped by the gift shop to […]
We went to Mom and Joe’s for dinner – they made me yummy chicken and mashed potatoes for my birthday dinner and of course there was a cake too! It was a great way to celebrate my birthday – no cooking for me and surrounded by people I love.
